He merges with Jenova, and murders Christopher Robin. At the end, he summons a meteor and tries to destroy the Hundred Acre Wood.

Click, it's kind of amusing even if you aren't familiar with both Pooh and the villain from Final Fantasy VII. I remember when the first Kingdom Hearts came out. It took me forever to get over the fact that you were fighting alongside Goofy and Donald Duck. The game turned out to be pretty good. If I ever have time to play video games again, I'll borrow the sequel from Kiel.

In the mean time, my lightsaber parts came in today. If I had driven today, I'd skip Integrated chem/phys and start work on it. I can see the box sitting on my porch, just waiting to be opened. I spent last night disassembling my master replica saber for conversion, a project I'll work on alongside building the Comstocks' sabers. All that should be done by my birthday, guys.

I miss everyone. I only ever see Michael anymore, and that's only every other day. The class I look forward to most is Algebra II because of Michael and Missy. Everything else has lost all meaning. English sucks because of a student teacher who should stick with teaching middle schoolers, and everything else sucks because it always has.

Lord, with out you, we are butt dust.

WHY ARE BOYS SO MUCH TROUBLE? WHY?

Everyone on this blog, being boys, can perhaps answer this most urgent question.

Lord, with out you, we are butt dust.

Meatballs

So, two new letters today. The first was my acceptance letter to Drew, with my merit-based scholarship offer. The second was the final financial aid statement from Wooster.
It was, shall we say, quite a bit more than I expected. The way things stand now, I could go to Wooster three times for what Hanover is still charging me, and ten times for what Drew is.
So now I actually have three options. And the best one financially is no longer the one I'm in love with. So I have a monumental decision to make.
This morning, Hanover was all but a done deal. Now I have no idea where I'll end up. And I'm a little freaked out.
There's still the scholarship competition stuff from Hanover, and the need-based aid from Drew, which may level the playing field. Everyone else here is excited. I'm just plain scared.

Lord, with out you, we are butt dust.

"--and so he said,"Rectum? I darn near killed 'im!"

I just wanted to show off the new template, inspired by a small child's outcry durring an ill-fated church service. "Lord, without you, we are but dust"--- "Mommy! What's butt dust?"

Oh, and we're coming up on 1,000 posts. We should have a party. And make fun of the sushi girls.

Lord, without you, we are butt dust.

Peanut Butter Crackers

My new title scheme is the last thing I ate before posting (unless that thing has already been a title.)
Now it's time for Good News/Bad News! The topic: My trip to Hanover.
Good News: Hanover was fun, and amazing, and I invented a new word for it: Fumazing
Bad News: The two-hour drive there was less than fumazing, mostly due to my mother and Led Zeppelin. But she was enjoying herself so much, I didn't have the heart to tell her to turn it off.
Good News: The Tempest was incredible. Ariel's singing, Trinculo and Stephano's secret handshake, the lovestruck couple - it was all perfect. Caliban was great and reminded me of Gollum.
Bad News: Fumazing is actually a pretty stupid word.
Good News: My host, Kirk was incredibly friendly and helpful and generally awesome. After the show we watched Ninja Turtles and ate Pizza in Kirk's dorm with about 11 similarly awesome people. Kirk's R.A., Steve, offered to sleep on the floor of Kirk's room so I could have his bed.
Bad News: I left my pillow in Steve's bed.
Good News: The interview and writing sample went well.
Bad News: I may have given the interviewer the impression that I took recreational drugs.
Good News: I got to see Erin!
Bad News: I didn't get to see Bethany or Whitney.
Good News: The theatre audition and interview went amazingly well.
Bad News: The Music audition went about as badly as it could possibly go. In the very likely event I go to Hanover, I intend to avoid the fine arts building like the plague. That is how badly I embarrassed myself.
Good News: I met an incredibly attractive prospective student who also wants to major in history and minor in theatre and who likes Jasper Fforde and 80's Rock.
Bad News: She's probably not going to Hanover.
Good News: There was no Led Zeppelin on the ride home.
Bad News: I had to go into three Mexican Restaurants looking for Jonah and Saralyn on the way home.
Good News: When I got home, I found my acceptance letter from Wooster, along with a $14,000 merit scholarship offer.
Bad News (for Wooster): By then I had pretty much already decided to go to Hanover.

So all in all I'd call the trip a resounding success. I'm 95% sure this secluded little dome is wear I want to spend the next four years of my life. With a little luck, I should be able to do that for less than $10,000. I'll no by April 1st.

I wanted to explode in the vacuum of space.

ARG! My family never tells me anything. Apparantly, we're going skiing in Colorado over spring break. I do not want to go. I do not like vacations. Vacations are things where siblings whine and parents are grumpy and no relaxation occurs. All I wanted to do for spring break is relax, catch up on some personal projects, maybe actually start construction on one of the lightsabers, and make up the work hours I lost for Central Sound. As it is, I'll probably lose my job; only the first two people who got to April were allowed to take spring break off. I do not know the consequences of changing this. Ah, I'm so burnt out. I'm tired of doing things. asdlkjt,ca.;asdatio.ciorgkjwioetsdknmv.a,3w3qjplgn;qwiy3yho

"Judi Dench took my eye out in a bar fight."

Have I been watching too much Stargate?

I think my Grandmother is preparing to Ascend.
I was talking to her today, and wondering what it must be like for her, and it occured to me that if what was happening to her looked anything like what it looked from from the outside from the inside, even an optimist like my Grandmother couldn't be as cheerful as she remains. I keep getting the feeling she knows something we don't. .
What if as she loses touch with this world, she's already getting in touch with another, some kind of spirit world to complex for us to comprehend? It's probably crazy, but to me at least it makes a bizzare kind of sense. She's on a journey, an adventure - but part of her is still in our world. It must be strange.

I can't shake hands, I'm incorporeal

I've decided not to link today, just to bother Michael. It's not really that funny, anyway, and has no real bearing on anything I'm saying here. Not that my titles ever do. I tried to start writing about Palpatine today, and I've got this cool intro concept in my head, but I just can't get that first sentence down. I should probably work on my other story before I do anything else, but I just don't have the discipline to finish something like this right now. Hell, I don't know what I'm doing with anything. I guess it's senioritis or something.

Central Sound didn't make finals at state. It was the dumbest thing ever. The sound guys were idiots, and the mics didn't work for the first couple groups, including us, so we got comments like "Couldn't hear you." Well, maybe if the damn mics were working. Anyway, everyone was shocked, and half the choir was crying. I was silent until dinner. Dinner was excelent. Some of us started singing the show, and we just did the whole thing, choreography and all in the Atrium at Ball State. This escalated to us marching and dancing all over the place, cheering for sweets (who did make finals, and got third) and having a generally good time. We lost in the crappiest way possible, but we also lost in the best way possible. Everyone's still worked up over it, myself included, but we performed that day. North Central was very sympathetic, and very pissed that they didn't get to compete with us. Said they won for us.

HORRIGAN MUST DIE! We're doing a movie montage for Variety Pops, and she keeps changing it because "it doesn't make sense." Variety Pops is on Friday. I swear, the woman is not a teacher. She depends on the inspiration and creativity of her students, and when she kills that, it's kind of pathetic.

If you're not the enemy of my enemy then you are not my friend!

Oscarblog 2006: "You know what? I think it just got a little easier out here for a pimp."

So, I didn't realize until about 3/4 of the show that my chat thing was deleting the chat as it went along, so I don't have the very beginning of Oscarblog. Fortunately, my hero Thomas was able to copy and paste it from his entrance and email it to me. I edited it down, making it ten pages shorter. Here are the highlights of Oscarblog 2006.

Jon Stewart's opening monologue was funny, as was Ben Stiller being "invisible." Also, it was funny when the orchestra killed Tom Hanks. At this point, I remember that I said, "The orchestra killed Tom Hanks." We join Oscarblog just as Reese Witherspoon is presenting Best Animated Something. She is smirky. At this point, Jonah and Nathan are somewhat behind the rest of the world due to the magic of TiVo.

LuckEdc: oh, shut up, Reese. Like you're not going to be standing up there later.
ewings73: Reese pff.
ewings73: that movie looks wierd
ewings73: Corpse Bride!
LuckEdc: unless Felicity is up there instead of you.
ewings73: that movie was so good
The Squid3188: Clooney gave a good speech
ewings73: he did, it's true

ewings73: I havent
LuckEdc: i didnt see any of those
ewings73: I saw corpse bride
ewings73: haha
ewings73: bow ties
ewings73: ok
LuckEdc: heee! they gave Oscar a bowtie
ewings73: I'm happy they won, just for the bow ties
LuckEdc: I love them now
ewings73: me too!
ewings73: heehee
ewings73: it'll be the new thign to do
ewings73: accessorize your Oscar
ewings73: to match your outfit
LuckEdc: that would rock
ewings73: like, a string of pearls or something
ewings73: you know
LuckEdc: give him a little pirate patch
ewings73: yes!
ewings73: even better
ewings73: bandanna
LuckEdc: this is a brilliant idea. we should market this.

Dolly Parton sings a song.

ewings73: I'm so confused as to what this song is about. I just hear :travelling" a lot as well as "Jesus"
LuckEdc: I'm not listening to the song
The Squid3188: I can't elieve So long and thanks for all the fish wasn't nominated
ewings73: snap!
ewings73: you're right!
ewings73: Hitchhiker's Guide gets shafted a lot
LuckEdc: My mom just called and we talked about Keira's dress and general awesomeness.
Trekker7474: one more commercial break and we'll be caught up
LuckEdc: w00t
ewings73: she is awesome
ewings73: I lvoe Kiera
LuckEdc: we all do.
ewings73: "so much self hatred from such a pretty girl!" "I know, I think it's a Brit thing"
LuckEdc: okay, Keira doesn't love Keira, maybe.
LuckEdc: but i think secretly she does.
LuckEdc: at night she comes home, sits back and thinks, "Yep. It's good to be me."
The Squid3188: quite possibly

Saralyn joins the chat. A duck and a chicken with the voice of Zach Braff present something, I don't remember what.

ewings73: ducks don't get pants!
alphagroupie84: is that some sort of inalienable rule?
ewings73: that was the funniest thing EVER
LuckEdc: yes, Zach Braff's voice
alphagroupie84: like, in the duck-creating constitution?
LuckEdc: must be

Jennifer Aniston presents Best Costuming.

LuckEdc: Hi, Jennifer Aniston!
ewings73: she's pretty
LuckEdc: she is. and has a pretty necklace on.

ewings73: I think so
ewings73: ooh! costumes
alphagroupie84: wonder how much that necklace cost
LuckEdc: a frillion dollars
alphagroupie84: frillion
alphagroupie84: lol
The Squid3188: when animated character is on the stage, what does the live audience see?
alphagroupie84: they prolly have to look at the monitors
LuckEdc: P&P!
alphagroupie84: like the alien from twilight zone was saying
LuckEdc: nothing. yeah, look at monitors
LuckEdc: Colleen Atwood just won Costumes for Geisha
alphagroupie84: quite
alphagroupie84: did anyone actually see that movie?
The Squid3188: you don't have to totally spoil us for no reason
alphagroupie84: hahaha
alphagroupie84: i laugh
LuckEdc: just letting you know where we are
alphagroupie84: purely b/c the reason you're behind is that you have tivo
LuckEdc: i mean, i know you were on the edge of your seat about costumes
alphagroupie84: i know i was
The Squid3188: most of us didn't see most of the movies truth be told
alphagroupie84: bah
alphagroupie84: oh well
alphagroupie84: ok
alphagroupie84: i didn't either
LuckEdc: me neither
alphagroupie84: what is he introducing?
alphagroupie84: and who the crap is selena?
The Squid3188: and Costumes was just announced
The Squid3188: but I didn't care, because Erin spoiled it for me
The Squid3188: :'(

alphagroupie84: i think they prolly should have
Trekker7474: Narnia was good, but Star Wars had better make-up
LuckEdc: that's true
alphagroupie84: i didn't think narnia was incredibly crazy amazing

LuckEdc: ooh! Penguins. You'd better not sleep though the penguins
Trekker7474: ugh

The Squid3188: "in every culture" pan to Asian people

alphagroupie84: me 2
alphagroupie84: what?
alphagroupie84: i disagree
alphagroupie84: vehemently
The Squid3188: darn
LuckEdc: no, because people kind of care about that category, so geisha can't win
The Squid3188: ah
LuckEdc: or if people dont care, the sweep is over
The Squid3188: so we'll say they care
LuckEdc: he has a kid named Don Juan?
LuckEdc: for real?

Pinball Jedi 42: it sounds like michael
Trekker7474: it's me
LuckEdc: yeah, it does. nate, do you have michael there?
Trekker7474: that's the response that dress creates naturally in men
Pinball Jedi 42: ah
Trekker7474: I was translating for her dress
LuckEdc: currently, Jessica Alba and Eric Bana (dreamysigh) are presenting something

Trekker7474: funny
LuckEdc: hee!
Pinball Jedi 42: I'm not going to actually say anything unless my parents change the channel
Pinball Jedi 42: until then, I'm working on another dialogue
LuckEdc: i wonder how much they rehearsed this
Trekker7474: Meryl Streep looks good for her age
LuckEdc: yeah, she does

LuckEdc: I want to see the montage of montages.
LuckEdc: he's shamelessly plugging eveything he's doing

Later...

Trekker7474: Is this a commercial or a montage?
Trekker7474: I've lost track
LuckEdc: a commercial

That pimp song is performed and wins Best Song. The Sound Editing smear campaign commences.

LuckEdc: wow, Ludacris has a real name.
LuckEdc: I love that a song called "It's hard out here for a pimp" is nominated for an Oscar.
LuckEdc: i kind of want to mute it, though.
LuckEdc: what shiny outfits those hookers have
Trekker7474: yeah
LuckEdc: she's not really saying "shit," is she?
LuckEdc: it sounds kind of like she is
LuckEdc: It is our queen, Latifah.
Trekker7474: she's awesome
LuckEdc: yes, she is
Trekker7474: I can't believe "So Long
Trekker7474: .." wasn't nominated
Trekker7474: wow
LuckEdc: only three songs were nominated?
LuckEdc: yeah. wow.

LuckEdc: I cannot understand them.
Pinball Jedi 42: did the pimp song win?

Pinball Jedi 42: that just because of brokeback's hype
Pinball Jedi 42: crash was an actual art show
Pinball Jedi 42: brokeback was really just a gay cowboy movie
LuckEdc: yes, but pretty much everybody said it was going to win
Pinball Jedi 42: we're past the point in history where homosexuality is culture shock

Pinball Jedi 42: I didn't catch that
LuckEdc: tell that to the people who wont let them get married
LuckEdc: my redneck relatives were culture shocked
Pinball Jedi 42: the people who wont let them get married probably don't watch a lot of popular television
Pinball Jedi 42: or movies

Pinball Jedi 42: lol
Pinball Jedi 42: So anyway, Guthrie watched it
LuckEdc: watched what?
Pinball Jedi 42: and she was all like, "Wow. That movie was really gay."
LuckEdc: lol
Pinball Jedi 42: it was a funny story, cuz she was there with her friend, and they were the only two people of the same sex who were not gay
Pinball Jedi 42: and throughout the movie Guthrie would giggle and say things like "this is so gay"
LuckEdc: hee!
LuckEdc: aw, he almost said "Good night, and good luck."

Pinball Jedi 42: I like the Space Odessey music
Pinball Jedi 42: it reminds the first track on pirate saga prt 3
Pinball Jedi 42: I'm going to sleep now
LuckEdc: I would like to thank Jonah, Nathan, Thomas, Evie, Saralyn, and Marten. Also the Academy, Jon Stewart, the Space Odyssey Music, Pimps, Keira Knightley's General Awesomeness, and my Mom.

No, you fool! Bring out the Comedy Sheep!

Just updating to say that 1) the Murder Mystery was both happy and sad; it was, in fact, disastrous, but Marten held up his end and was good. 2)I have updated Pants. 3) I... think... that the general consensus was that I can keep updating Notebook if I want, so I have. I'm going to do it on more of a regular basis now; I'm thinking something every weekend. Would that work okay for everyone?

"Calix, The Pirate King"

That would so be a shout out if I still had a beard and liked to throw axes.

It's very likely that the murder mystery will be a disaster, so I encourage everyone to come. It'll be a fun disaster, with food and prizes.

Lightsaber is up on Untitled, for those of you interested.
